0.8x + 2.71 = 1.898 - 0.6x
Add 0.6x to each side.
0.6x + 0.8x + 2.71 = 1.898 - 0.6x + 0.6x
1.4x + 2.71 = 1.898
Subtract 2.71 from both sides.
-2.71 + 1.4x + 2.71 = 1.898 - 2.71
1.4x = -0.812
____=_____
1.4    =   1.4
Divide by 1.4

x = -0.58

Hope I helped

0.8x + 2.71 = 1.898- 0.6x
To solve this, first isolate x on 1 side of the equation.
To do this, add 0.6x to both sides.
1.4x + 2.71 = 1.898

Now, subtract 2.71 from both sides.
1.898 - 2.71 = -0.812
1.4x = -0.812

Last, divide both sides by 1.4.
-0.812 / 1.4 = -0.58
x = -0.58

Answer:
x = -0.58

Well slope means a surface of which one end or side is at a higher level than another; a rising or falling surface. So pretty much its just saying he had 6 litters used 4 of those litters and had a remainder of 2. So you can say the slope means that he was decreasing in litters by using 2 litters every 1 hour. I don know really if it´s correct so, sooopppeeerrrr sorry. :( :) bye

Complete Question

William has $7.50 to spend at the pretzel shop. A large pretzel costs $1.25 and a soft drink costs $0.90. He buys one drink and p pretzels. Which inequality can be used to find the number of pretzels William can buy?

a) 1.25p−0.9≤7.5

b) 1.25p+0.9≤7.5

c) 1.25p+0.9≥7.5

d) 1.25+0.9p≤7.5

Answer:

b) 1.25p+0.9≤7.5

Step-by-step explanation:

William has $7.50 to spend at the pretzel shop.

This means Williams can spend at least $7.50

A pretzel costs $1.25 and a soft drink costs $0.90. He buys one drink and ?pretzel

Therefore, the inequality can be used to find the number of pretzels William can buy is written as

1.25p+0.9≤7.5

Option b is the correct option

How can you describe the graph of the equation ax + by = c? Explain
scoundrel [369]

Answer:

When A and B are not both zero, the graph of Ax + By = C is always a line. The graph of Ax + By = C, where A and B are not both zero, is a line. Divide both sides by B. Because the form Ax + By = C can describe any line, it is called the standard form of an equation for a line.

Hope this helps you!
