I believe the answer is: Reliability
The concept of reliability refers to the type of situation where researchers typically obtain a certain conclusion and this conclusion would be applicable to other population that have different characteristic. Concluding researchers wiithout proofing their reliability would make the result seen as luck/ and non-usable work result.
