Which factor played the most significant role in the start of world war II
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:    B) The rise of authoritarian leaders in countries suffering from the Great Depression

Explanation:  There are many factors that led to the Second World War, and everything started after the end of the WWI and the Treaty of Versailles, which required Germany to pay war damages, seizing German territories, an order to reduce the army. This led to a poor economic situation in Germany, especially during the Great Depression, which was also the cause of a bad economic situation in Italy. This was again a trigger for the emergence of totalitarian leaders and regimes in these two countries. The League of Nations did not adequately respond to the growing totalitarian ideas and regimes, even in some situations, for example, the annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia by Germany, the League of Nations, thinking that it would satisfy the Nazi agree to such a concession. In one word, the League of Nations did not have the capacity to stop Nazism.

Please help me. Which statement explains how the sharecropping system kept emancipated slaves tied to the plantation land they h
Kipish [7]
But sharecroppers were still poor, and it was hard for them to save money to buy their own land. White land-owners liked that, because they didn't want black people to own their own land.

Many white farmers also became sharecroppers after the Civil War. In Mississippi, for instance, about a third of the white farmers were sharecroppers, and more than three-quarters of the black farmers were sharecroppers. Nearly all of the land-owners, though, were white. The white land-owners arranged things so that most sharecroppers could not make enough money sharecropping to buy their food and clothes. They ended up having to borrow money from the land-owners, and soon they were always in debt. The land-owners said they could not leave the land if they owed money, so in many places share-cropping ended up being a lot like slavery.
