Doubles 47 times 12 years = 564

Triples 4 times 12 years = 48

and

               ±  12 • √ 1   =

               ±  12

So now we are looking at:

          z  =  ( 8 ± 12) / 8

Two real solutions:

z =(8+√144)/8=1+3/2= 2.500

or:

z =(8-√144)/8=1-3/2= -0.500

Two solutions were found :

z = -1/2 = -0.500

z = 5/2 = 2.500
