How was the Constitution significant in helping African Americans to gain civil rights?
nadya68 [22]
After the Civil War, the US Constitution became a means to ensure that African-Americans had rights in American society. This was due to the passage of the following three amendments:

1) 13th amendment- This outlawed slavery or forced labor all over the US.

2) 14th amendment- This amendment states that any person born on US soil or naturalized has all of the rights/freedoms guaranteed in the US Constitution.

3) 15th amendment- This amendment states that a person cannot be stopped from voting based on race, color, or past servitude. Essentially, this makes it so that a government can't stop a person from voting based on the fact that they were a slave before this time period.

stira [4]
The correct answer is: Germany.

Germany was one of the countries that lost World War I, and it had to pay huge reparations to the winning countries. This, together with general bad financial situation in the world at the time, has caused it to become bankrupt and increased the feeling of desperation and nationalism in Germany.

JulijaS [17]

Answer:

Hey there!

American settlers who wanted to expand into the south and west, pressured the government to remove the Native Americans away from their land into the present day states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. The Native Americans were forced to leave their homes and travel many hundreds of miles to their new ones, many dying on the way there.
