Answer:

b) Cognitive-affective complexity

Explanation:

Cognitive-affective complexity refers to a form of thinking that people develop as they grow older. A person experiences cognitive-affective complexity when he/she is aware of positive and negative feelings that a situation makes them feel and what they think about the situation.

A person who has a high cognitive-affective complexity tends to perceive nuances, subtle differences and contradictions in her experiences.

Olga has just given birth and she feels fulfilled buy she also acknowledges feelings of concern and fear over being able to meet all of her parental responsibilities. So Olga has a dissonance between how she feels (fulfilled but afraid and concerned at the same time). Therefore she is perceiving all the contradictions that her new status as a parent has.

Thus, this reflects b) cognitive-affective complexity.

Which of the following best describes women's participation in the workplace after the women's rights movement?
mel-nik [20]

Women were able to hold a more prominent role in the workplace following the passing of the 19th Amendment. With the ability to work alongside men, they were able to receive jobs now. However, many didn't hire women because of their limited mindsets on their work ethic.

Many jobs would be filled in by women in the factories during WWII. Many men were sent to fight the Axis and the Reds overseas, and we needed people to manufacture our goods for the war and at home. Seeing as how women were able to get jobs by then, they filled in.

For a long time, they were just seen as temporary work, and were expected to give up their jobs when the men returned. A little chauvinistic, but such was the troubled time back then.

Why do you think the persians allowed the people they conqured to gonvern themself?
vazorg [7]

Answer:

The Persians followed a monotheistic religion called Zoroastrianism, which recognized only a single deity named Ahura Mazda. Based on the teachings of the Persian prophet Zoroaster, this was the official religion of the Persian Empire, although conquered peoples were allowed to practice their own religions. They treat them well. They allowed them to keep their religion and customs instead of forcing them to adapt to Persian ways. ... They could let people know about problems or thing they had to do.
