Given:
Length of rectangle = 2 meters
Width of rectangle = 1.5 meters.
Diameter of semicircle = 2 meters

I am assuming that the diameter of the semicircle is attached to one of the length of the rectangle.

Perimeter of the rectangle part of the table is = 2 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 5 meters

Perimeter of the semicircle = 1/2 π d + d = 1/2 * 3.14 * 2 + 2
                                            = 3.14 + 2
                                            = 5.14 meters

Perimeter of the office table: 5 meters + 5.14 meters = 10.14 meters.

In 1911, the temperature in Rapid City,
Sliva [168]

The 3.1 °F/min rate of change of the temperature and 15 minutes change duration gives the change in temperature as 46.5 °F

<h3>How can the change in temperature be found from the rate of change?</h3>

The rate at which the temperature changed = 3.1 °F/min

The duration of the change in temperature = 15 minutes

The relationship between the change in temperature, the rate of change in temperature and the time can be presented as follows;

3.1  ^{\circ} F/min =  \frac{ \delta T }{\delta t}  =  \frac{ \Delta T }{ \Delta t}

Where;

∆T = The required change in temperature

∆t = The duration of the change = 15 minutes

Which gives;

∆T = 3.1°F/min × 15 minutes = 46.5 °F

  • The change in temperature, ∆T = 46.5 °F

Can someone help with this geometry question?
Alex787 [66]

since it's rhombus, then

6x-11=25-4x

10x=36

x=3.6

each side = 25-4(3.6)

= 25 - 14.4

= 10.6

Answer:

2x² - 3x - 2

Explain:

Use the FOIL method: (a +b)(c +d) = ac + ad +bc +bd.

2x² + x - 4x - 2

Collect like terms.

2x² + (x - 4x) - 2

Simplify.

2x² - 3x - 2
