Which connection would be considered a text-to-world connection? connecting the events in the novel Chains with the culture of 1
givi [52]

Answer:

connecting the events in the novel Chains with the culture of 1700s America

Explanation:

Text-to-world means exactly what it sounds like. Compare a written text to a world event.

A is the correct answer because it involves a real-life source (1700s America) and a textual source (Chains). None of the other sources have the "world" part.

 • connecting the villain in The Final Problem with other antagonists in mystery novels = text-to-text
 • connecting the book The American Revolution with an article about the Mexican Revolution = text-to-text

Which strategy is not appropriate for writing a supporting sentence in a paragraph? use a fact use an example use an implied mai
Lesechka [4]
I think the correct answer would be the third option. Using an implied main idea would not be a good strategy for writing a supporting sentence. These sentences should contain substance or evidences that would support the main idea of what you are writing. Using implied ideas would be very vague for the readers making the readers doubt on what message you are conveying. Supporting sentences should be straight to the point and be very specific and should provide a good foundation for the main idea. Using facts, examples and statistics that are verified by reliable people are very good strategies in writing supporting sentences.

How have black hawks cultural experiences shaped his view of his ancestors
jeka94

Blackhawk's very patriotic and thankful. His past experiences have made him see that maybe the only victory Native Americans can have is the opportunity to choose death over living a life full of weakness and immorality. Even though they were not capable of winning the battle due to the greater number of white men and their advanced weapons, they fought with honor for the things they believed in.
