Draw a cartoon strip or write an article to summarise the greenhouse effect and how it can lead to global warming. Include the f
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

The greenhouse effect is an essential phenomenon for life on earth. However, human activities such as pollution and burning of fossil fuels have caused an intensification of this effect, which has harmed the atmosphere and is directly related to global warming.

The greenhouse effect is formed by a layer of atmospheric gases that settle around the planet and allows a temperature suitable for life to reach the earth's surface. Therefore, we can guarantee that this effect is essential for our survival. It is necessary that the amount of these gases is kept in equilibrium for this temperature to be constant.

However, the burning of fossil fuels, industrial activities, pollution (caused by vehicles, aerosols, fires, among others), the use of non-renewable energy releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere daily and in large quantities.

This causes the layer of greenhouse gases that circulates the earth to become more and more expanded, not being able to disperse solar radiation easily and causing an increasing temperature. All that heat is retained in the atmosphere, thus generating global warming, which allows the planet's temperature and ocean water to increase dramatically, which can cause various harmful effects to life on the planet.

For this reason, it is necessary to carry out public policies that reduce pollution and encourage the use of clean and renewable energy that does not increase the layer of greenhouse cases, promoting well-being and life on earth.

How can bacteriophage dna be spread from cell to cell without causing cell death?
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

through lysogenic cycle

Explanation:

The bacteriophage attaches itself on the bacterial surface. The DNA strand to be replicated is injected into the bacteria by the bacteriophage. The DNA integrates into the bacterial chromosome and becomes a pro-phage.

The bacterial cell proceeds to cell division through budding. The progeny possess the bacteriophage. After complete replication, the virus DNA detaches from the host genome and enters the lytic cycle. The capsid heads assemble on the surface of bacterial cell to package the fully matured viral DNA . The phage produces lytic enzymes that weaken the cell wall of bacteria cell.

The portion of the tubule system that is relatively impermeable to solutes but contains many aquaporins for water reabsorption
topjm [15]

Descending limb of loop of Henle

It helps to maintain the concentration of urine. It is highly permeable to water thus water is readily reabsorbed from the descending limb by osmosis. It is impermeable to sodium and chloride ions.

What is a Tubule system ?

The transverse tubular system is a network of interconnecting rings, each of which surrounds a myofibril

 • The nephron uses four mechanisms to convert blood into urine: filtration, reabsorption, secretion, and excretion. These apply to numerous substances

 • The distal convoluted tubule (DCT) and collecting duct (CD) are the final two segments of the kidney nephron. They have an important role in the absorption of many ions, and in water reabsorption.
