Previously, Panama was part of Colombia, which denied the Canal that would cross the country as a commercial route proposed by the United States, because of this, the insurgent population of Panama or "rebels" were the US army to defeat the Colombian nation Satisfactorily, and establish Panamanian independence, which would consequently yield the fruit of the Panama Canal.
<u>Advantages of the confucian system for China:</u>
Confucian system was a system of social and ethical philosophy in China and it was not much regarding the religion. This was developed from the original teachings from China and had the focus of establishing social values in the Chinese society.
The advantages of this system in China were;
1) This system helped people improve their moral characters and become better human beings.
2) It also helped the leaders of the society to become better leaders and lead a society which was a harmonious society.
Privately owned businesses are common in a free enterprise economy.
