The Deslondes rebellion terrified white southerners more than any other slave revolt. It is a false statement.

Explanation:

The southern whites were mostly horrified by Nat Turner's Rebellion. Literacy of the white children was controlled by the Virginia legislature.

Nat Turner's Rebellion took place in Virginia, in August 1831. Nat Turner's Rebellion restricted the slaves from learning and also prohibited them from gathering for religious meetings. The literacy rate of the slaves was completely reduced.

The culture of fear was increased in Virginia and later it was spread to the rest of the South. The fear caused by Nat Turner's Rebellion was the major source of the Civil War.

Why was travel by boat between greenland and europe made increasingly difficult from about 1350–1850? geog 2050?
True [87]
Because of increasing sea ice.

In climate change taking place since then, there has been an opposite problem. Beginning in the late 19th century, a reduction of sea ice has been progressing in the Arctic regions. The pace of ice mass loss has been accelerating especially since the 1970s. In the first decade of the 21st century, Greenland's ice loss accelerated at a rate of 30 gigatonnes a year.
