A. Author's last name and page number of the quotation must appear on the works cited page. Would be your answer. And this is also correct as Ive done my research.
The MLA (Modern Language Association) citation style uses what is known as parenthetical citation. This style requires placing relevant source of information after a quote or a paragraph. If the aouthor's name appears in the text before the citation, the reference will consist the page number only, if not - then the author's last name and the page number of the quotation are required. All in-text sources of information must correspond to the source of information on the bibliography/works cited page.
