△DEF has vertices D (2,2), E (-2,-1), and F (-3,5). Complete the following charts indicating the location of △D′E′F′ and △D″E″F″

.△DEF is reflected in the y-axis. Then it is translated along the vector ⟨3,−5⟩. Enter your answers as points using parenthesis and commas. Do not use any spaces.

Reflecting DEF on the y-axis gives the following coordinates of D'E'F' as follows

the coordinate of D' (-2, 2)
the coordinate of E' (2, -1)
the coordinate of F' (3, 5)

Translating D'E'F' by the vector (3, -5) gives the following coordinate of D''E''F'' as follows

the coordinate of D'' (-2+3, 2-5) = (1, -3)
the coordinate of E'' (2+3, -1-5) = (5, -6)
the coordinate of F'' (3+3, 5-5) = (6, 0)

The diagram below shows the transformation of triangle DEF

A cylinder has a volume of 288 pi cubic meters and a height of 9 meters. What is the area of the base?
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

The area of the base is about 32 square meters

Step-by-step explanation:

V = pi times r^2 times h which is the formula.

Since the volume is 288, and the height is 9 it is,

288 = pi times r^2 times 9,

288/9 = pi times r^2 times 9/9

32/pi = pi/pi times r^2

10.2 = r^2

The square root of 10.2 is about 3.19

Area formula is pi times radius, r^2

3.19 times 3.19  or 3.19^2 = 10.1761

10.1761 times pi is 31.96 which is about 32 square meters.

I hope this helps!

Both the ranges and the interquartile ranges for the data sets are the same.
aleksley [76]

Answer:

to find range of interquartile sets of data

you see 5 vertical lines 1 is start point 2 is start of 2nd quartile 3 is start of 3rd quartile and also represents the median.  the 4th start of 4th quartile and 5th is very end point.

Therefore the interquartile is from start line 2 to start line 4

apply to each by if it says 10 and 34 then we show workjings 34-10 = 24 and that is the range once we deduct data from each other.

Therefore full range is start line 1 to end line 5

if this says 2 to 45 then full range is 45-2 = 43 and apply to each boxplot.
