Mathematics

A table will generally give you an output value for each of several input values. To find the average rate of change over some range of inputs, divide the difference between output values by the difference between input values for the corresponding inputs.

For example, consider the table

input .... output

.. 1 ............ 3

.. 3 ........... -5

The average rate of change between these input values is

... (change in output)/(change in input) = (-5 -3)/(3 - 1) = -8/2 = -4.

John works as a tutor for an hour and as a waiter for an hour. This month, he worked a combined total of hours at his two jobs.
liberstina [14]

Correct Question:

John works as a tutor for $12 an hour and as a waiter for $8 an hour. This month, he worked a combined total of 86 hours at his two jobs.

Let be the number of hours John worked as a tutor this month. Write an expression for the combined total dollar amount he earned this month.

Answer:

Total hours = 86

Let t is the hours he spent on tutoring

then (86-t) is hours spent on waiting

Let Y is the total amount in dollars which is required .

Now;

y = (tutoring hours x 12$) + (waiting hours x 8$)

Y = 12t + 8(86-t)

Please help me, will mark you as brainiest! Don’t answer if you don’t know it!
Vesnalui [34]

Answer:

The correct option is;

26.8

Step-by-step explanation:

The given parameters are;

The perpendicular bisectors of the sides of ΔMNP = Segments OQ, OR, and OS

Therefore;

in Segment MN, segment QM = segment QN, by definition of bisected line

Segment OQ = Segment OQ by reflexive property

∠OQM = ∠OQN = 90° by definition of perpendicular bisector

∴ ΔOQN ≅ ΔOQM, by SAS rule of congruency

Segment MO ≅ Segment ON by Congruent Parts of Congruent Triangle are Congruent, CPCTC

Segment MO = Segment ON = 26.8, by definition of congruency

Segment MO = 26.8
