Parasitism
Parasitism can be defined
as a relationship between species in which one organism (parasite) lives on or
in another organism which is the host, causing it some harm without immediately
killing it. Thus, parasitism is a kinds of close, symbiosis and persistent
biological interactions.
The effect does the chemical referred to as a mutagen has is it causes a permanent change in the genetic material (dna) and is denoted as option D.

What is DNA?

This is referred to as deoxyribonucleic acid and is the genetic material in living organisms.
Mutagen on the other hand are agents which cause mutations which means alterations in the DNA of organisms. It affects the transcription and replication of the DNA thereby leading to cell death and other effects such as diseased condition.
This is therefore the reason why option D was chosen as the most appropriate choice.

Answer:
Cladistic analysis compares the shared and shared derived characteristics of organisms which are thought to be of same ancestral origin.
Explanation:
- The branch of sytematics concerned with inferring phylogeny is termed as cladistics.
- It determines the branching pattern of evolution.
- It decribes the sequence of branching of ancestral lines.
- The basic idea behind cladistics is that the members of a group share common evolutionary history, and are closely related, more so to members of the same group than to other organisms.
