This is the expression before any coupon is applied
3 + 4 + 5

This is the expression if the bread and cheese coupons are applied, without applying total purchase coupon
<span>(1−x)3+(1−y)4+5

This is the expression if only total purchase coupon is applied
</span><span>(1−z)(3+4+5)

I think the answer is the one I bold (3+4+5)</span>

If the only two options are as given, then I would select (1−x)3+(1−y)4+5 as the expression representing the price of the total discount is applied.

consider the graph of the following qudratic equation. y= -x^2 -10x + 24.What is the y-value of the vertex?
3241004551 [841]

Given that the quadratic equation is y=-x^{2}-10 x+24

We need to determine the y - value of the vertex.

<u>The x - value of the vertex:</u>

The x - value of the vertex can be determined using the formula,

x=-\frac{b}{2 a}

where a=-1, b=-10, c=24

Substituting these values, we get;

x=-\frac{(-10)}{2(-1)}

Simplifying the terms, we get;

x=-\frac{-10}{-2}

x=-5

Thus, the x - value of the vertex is -5.

<u>The y - value of the vertex:</u>

The y - value of the vertex can be determined by substituting the x - value of the vertex ( x = -5) in the equation y=-x^{2}-10 x+24

Thus, we get;

y=-(-5)^{2}-10(-5)+24

Simplifying the values, we have;

y=-25+50+24

y=49

Thus, the y - value of the vertex is 49.

A gardener wishes to plant plants in such a way that each row contains as many plants as the number of rows. He has 2624 plants.
vagabundo [1.1K]

Answer:

80

Step-by-step explanation:

we search for a square number so that rows*plantsInARow gives us the number

The number should be around 50², guessed

50² = 2500 (to low)

51² = 2601 (still to low)

52² = 2704 (bingo)

now to get from 2624 to 2704 plants he needs 80 more. That is the least number.

He could also go to plant 60² plants an than need slot more.

(would really appreciate the brainliest)
