It would be the self-determination theory. He's intrinsic motivation of becoming a lawyer, or as the theory says, the happiness of taking up law is lost. And the mentions of the extrinsic motivation here may mean, the only motivation Ken have for law may be just to earn money, to just finish school or just for the sake of his parents.

Butoxors [25]

Answer:Elaborative rehearsal

Explanation:Elaborative rehearsal is how we work towards encoding information in order to restore that information into our long term memory by processing it deeper.

This is done in a way that we associate the new information with what we already know.

This can range from trying to build an image of what we are learning in order to be able to recall the information using this image we built or using first letters of each word in what we are learning. Fedeke related it to her own life which will make it easier to recall Information.

This is called using mnemonic device.

Nonamiya [84]

Social loafing occurs when an individual exerts less effort in a group because of the decreased accountability for individual effort.

Social loafing is the phenomenon of a person exerting less effort to achieve a goal when they work with a group then working alone. It is therefore observed that groups are sometimes less productive than when the members are working as individuals. Max Ringelman, a French professor demonstrated this phenomenon by the example of rope pulling. He made people pull on ropes, both separately and in groups and measured and compared how hard they pulled. The experiment indicated that the members of a group exerted less pressure than did individuals alone.

The main reason for members of the group to exert less pressure stems from individual members' feeling that their efforts will not matter to the group. Several studies found the most prevalent motivational origins of social loafing to be the lack of an understanding of individual contributions, unchallenging tasks given to the individual, low personal satisfaction from the task, and lack of a united group.
