The Inuits are Native Americans living far north in Canada. They are mainly hunters and spend their summers hunting and preserving food for the harsh winter. In the 19th century Inuits continue to hunt and store meat fir winter. The animal skins are used to make clothing and other household items. Hunting also provided raw materials for heating and making weapons.

China saw western influence heavily in the 19th century. America was starting to make a name for themselves, and influencing those especially in Asia. Because Chinese traditions run deep, this was seen bad. Suddenly the youth were slowly striding away from Chinese traditions and looking to American traditions. This cause the Chinese to become communist, not wanting the foreign influence.
