"I fumbled with the keys, determined to unlock the stubborn door, and when I finally did, I walked inside, letting out a sigh of relief. I dropped the keys on the nearest table, and headed upstairs, my footsteps thumping on the wooden staircase. I gently unwrapped the wool sweater from my shoulders, sighing gently, thinking of all the things left to do. Three of my luggages, all filled to the brim, waited in the garage, and I had to unpack them, but I had little to no effort left in me. Sadness clouded my mind. My country is Canada and it has always given me a sense of pride and patriotism. Canda has done so much for its citizens for hundreds of years and still continues to do so. Therefore, if there comes a time to give up my life for the right cause of our country and if it means that my family, friends and fellow citizens would be safe, I would gladly do it.
