Answer:

a) Some drugs readily pass through the skin.

Explanation:

The skin has the ability to absorb various substances. Some penetrate the most superficial layers and others the deepest of the organ and may even enter the bloodstream. Penetration of mediations, for example, is not always possible because of natural barriers - such as the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the skin, composed of keratin). However, some medications pass quickly through the skin.

Why you do sometimes shiver when you're cold?
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
When you shiver, that's actually how you help yourself stay warm! It's your immediate instinct reaction to do so when you're cold, so there will be more heat produced, and they occur by your muscles moving. =)

Give an example of how migration affects population size?
il63 [147K]
Well, depending on how long the migration is, many of the animals (mainly birds) could get sick and die, lowering the population. They could be shot by hunters, lowering the population. The children of the population could get left behind and lose their way, lowering the population. I'm not entirely sure how the population could grow other than them finding and staying with another group of their own kind. hope I was helpful! :)

Opossums are solitary animals that usually meet in nature only to mate. What is their probable distribution pattern?
Goryan [66]

Random distribution is the probable distribution pattern of opossums.

Explanation:

The opossums are the member of low density population. They are sparsely distributed because of the low number. There are troubles for them to find a mate.

Their habitat makes them solitary as they have flexible dietary habits. they are terrestrial animals living in burrows and are nocturnal.

They have random distribution pattern. The opossums are distributed in the population as random. The mates in opossums do not have choices of mates and the environment conditions in which they live are stagnant.(having no social life). Random interaction is seen in species which do not have any social bonding between the species of the animals or plants.
