The civilization that is thought to have been heavily influenced by the earlier Olmec civilization is the Aztec civilization. The Olmecs are thought to have set the basis for the later development of the Aztecs, and that is noticeable in multiple ways like the traditions, faith, writing style, clothing style, way of life in general... Both of these civilizations are Mesoamerican civilizations and are considered as one of the most advanced and sophisticated in the history of the Americas.
