Gachet is one of the most revered paintings by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. It depicts Dr. Paul Gachet, a homeopathic doctor and artist with whom van Gogh resided following a spell in an asylum at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Gachet took care of Van Gogh during the final months of his life.

ILL MARK BRAINIEST IF YOU ANSWER ALL OF THESE FOR ME!!!
Ksju [112]

Answer:

1: <em>Historic statues should not be taken down, I believe that because it teaches children what people have done for our country.</em>

<em>2: They do represent the country's history, they do that because people like, Abraham, George Washington, Thomas Edison, etc, have created so much for our world, and have started amazing things.</em>

<em>3: I would enjoy seeing famous painting everywhere, instead of in just a museum, but I kind of understand why.</em>

<em>4: They (certain ones) should not be taken down.</em>

<em>5: The first reason I believe this is because, these people represent our country and what has happened. Wars, inventions, new adventure, and more.</em>

<em>6: My second belief for this is: People like, Christopher Columbus, have helped for this country to grow and become a big economy.</em>

<em>7: My 3rd belief for this is: To show the people who have helped in the Civil War, or World Wars'.</em>

<em>8: The best counter argument would be, "Some people on Historic statues could or have been terrible people, that have own slaves, or have done terrible things to children. They should be all taken down."</em>

<em>9: My counterpoint is, "They ALL don't have to be taken down, figure out who have done terrible things, and decide whether to take it down or not."</em>

4. Analyze: How does Louv use contrasts—such as death and rebirth, broken and
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

Find the explanation below.

Explanation:

1. He drew the contrasts between death and rebirth when he explained that the contact which the new generation of children have with nature is dying. He explained that there is a possibility of a rebirth of wonder and joy where man can begin his meaningful interaction with nature.

Evidence from the text:

My sons may yet experience what author Bill McKibben has called "the end of nature," the final sadness of a world where there is no escaping man. But there is another possibility: not the end of nature, but the rebirth of wonder and even joy.

2. He drew a contrast between being broken and healing when he explained that the bond between the young and nature was broke. He also explained that nature did have a therapeutic effect as seen from some studies. Making it a point to heal the bond between the young people and nature would be beneficial to all.

Evidence from the text:

Yet, at the very moment that the bond is breaking between the young and the natural world, a growing body of research links our mental, physical, and spiritual health directly to our association with nature—in positive ways.

Reducing that deficit—healing the broken bond between our young and nature—is in our self-interest, not only because aesthetics or justice demands it, but also because our mental, physical, and spiritual health depends upon it.

Breaking the word "Mustn't" between the "t" and the "n"... A) violates the poem's rhyme scheme B) creates an example of onomatop
kompoz [17]

Answer:

The objective of the question is somewhat unclear.

Explanation:

A) It's impossible to tell whether or not the poem's rhyme scheme is being violated. This is because we don't have a reference to the poem where the word was used.

B) The word "Mustn't" is not an example of Onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia refers to words which when used sound like the object being described. This creates more expression and color in the literature where it is used.

Some examples of Onomatopoeia are:

  1. Zoom
  2. Zing
  3. Belch
  4. Boom
  5. Clang

C) End-Stopping refers to a poetic device that entails a pause at the end of a unit of syntax. A syntactic unit may be a sentence, phrase, or clause.

An example of an end-stopped line is given below:

How can I compare you to a sunny day?

You are more resplendent and lovely:

D) Mustn't only means one thing: "Must Not"

So the word is a contraction of two words: Must and Not.

Contractions are used in the English Language for informal conversations. They are inappropriate for formal correspondences.
