Combine like terms so first 7m-5m is 2m then 11-2 is 9 so you’re left with 2m+9=2m-9 now subtract 9 to the right side so you’re left with 2m=-18 because -9-9=-18 so now you divide 2m=-18 by 2 to get m alone and you get m=-9

Answer:

2m+9=2m-9

Step-by-step explanation:

7m+11−5m−2=7m+11+−5m+−2

=7m+11+−5m+−2

=(7m+−5m)+(11+−2)

=2m+9

Soni has 196 pencils. If she puts equal amounts of pencils into eight boxes, she has four pencils left. How many pencils does sh
Kryger [21]
The best way to work this out is to find the total number, minus the remained. In this case, subtract four from 196, and this gives you 192. As you've got to put the pencils into 8 boxes, you have to divide 192 by 8, and this gives you 24.
Therefore, Soni can put 24 pencils can be put into each box, with four pencils remaining.
Hope this helps :)

Show your work. What is 93 divided by 3 using repeated subtraction.
tamaranim1 [39]
To use repeated subtraction, you could keep subtracting 3 until you reach 0.
So, we can do
93-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3=0
This has 31 -3s,
So 91/3 is 31.

By selling old CD Sarah has a store credit of $153 a new CD cost $18 what are the problem numbers of new cCD Sarah can buy
DiKsa [7]
Rileyflipflop, \frac{153}{18} = 8 \frac{1}{2}, since she can't buy half a CD, she's limited to no more than 8 CDs. If x = the cost of one CD, then x CDs cost $18x. Since we are limited to $153, our equation looks like... 18x < 153x < 8 \frac{1}{2} Again, since we can't buy half a CD, your answer should actually be... x ≤ 8 since we can buy 8 CDs or fewer.
