Hasty generalization involves drawing a conclusion that is based upon a very small sample size, therefore using statistics in a faulty way and essentially jumping to conclusions. For example, you have a large population of, say, 1000 participants. You take a very small sample, of say 15 participants, from this population. You then draw all of your conclusions based on this small segment of the larger population. Hope this helps.
