n Mr. Richards. Mr. Edwards is twice as old as Mr. Richards. The sum of Mr. Richards’ age and Mr. Edwards’ age is 81. How old is each person?

First you subtract 3 years from the sum of Mr. Richards' and Mr. Edwards' age because Ms. Richards is 3 years older than Mr. Richards. Then divide 78 by 3 because 2/3's of the years will go to Mr. Edwards and 1/3 of the years to Mr. Richards since he is double the age of Mr. Richards. So 78÷3=26 that gives you 26 and the remaining years are 52. Therefore, Ms. Pacheco is 29, Mr. Richards is 26 and Mr. Edwards is 52

pshichka [43]
3(2+q)+15
First you distribute 3 with 2 and q
(3)(2)+(3q)+15
And that gives you 6+3q+15
Next you combine like terms
6+3q+15
(3q)+(6+15) leave 3q the way it is and then add 6+15
And the answer is 3q+21

On the coordinate grid, the graph of y = 3x - 1 + 3 is
Akimi4 [234]

Step-by-step explanation:

the domain is the interval or set of all valid input values (values of x).

while the range is the interval or set of all valid result values (y values).

so, we don't need to look at the answer options dealing with y. the domain only concerns x.

and when you look at the graph it shows you that every number on the x-axis from all the way to the left to all the way to the right is valid (from -infinity to +infinity).

and the function itself (the cubic root of x) did not provide any theoretical limits. you can take the cubic root from any number, positive or negative.

therefore, the third answer option is correct (all x, where x is a real number).
