Let 'x' and 'y' be two complementary angles.

The sum of two complementary angles is always 90 degrees.

So, x+y = 90^\circ

y = 90^\circ - x   (equation 1)

It is given that, one angle measures 39 degrees more than 2 times the measure of its complement.

So, x = 39^\circ+(2 \times y)

x = 39^\circ+2y

Substituting the value of 'y' from equation 1 in the above equation, we get

x = 39^\circ+2(90^\circ-x)

x=39^\circ+180^\circ-2x

x + 2x = 219^\circ

3x = 219^\circ

So, x = 73^\circ

Since, y = 90^\circ-x

y = 90-73 = 17^\circ

Therefore, the measure of two angles are 73^\circ and  17^\circ.

If it takes 51 steps to get from her office to the accounting department and the resources department is 34 steps below her office there are 17 steps between the human resources and the accounting, because if you subtract 51 - 34 it equals 17, I hope this helps.

The graph of a linear function is shown on the grid.
Elza [17]

Answer:

Option (A)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the equation of the line passing through a point (x', y') and slope 'm' is,

y - y' = m(x - x')

Slope of the line passing through two points (0, 5) and (4, -7),

m = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

   = \frac{5+7}{0-4}

   = -3

As slope of the line is negative, Options (A) and (B) will be the possible options.

Therefore, equation of the line passing through (4, -7) will be,

y - (-7) = -3(x - 4)

y + 7 = -3(x - 4)

Therefore, Option (A) will be the correct option.
