According to the book "The Odyssey" by Homer, Odysseus and his men travel to the island of Aeaea: home of the witch-godess Circe.
Circe notices them, and drugs a band of Odysseus' men and turns them into pigs (swines). Hermes approaches Odysseus and provides him with counsel to save his men from their predicament.
