Answer:

When a nation is economically integrated with trading partners, fixed exchange rates could promote integration and economic efficiency by keeping transaction costs low

Explanation:

The exchange rate is the value of a currency in terms of another. When exchange rates fluctuate, it creates uncertainty in trade. For example, when a country's currency depreciates, its exports are cheaper but imports are expensive. On the other hand, when its currency appreciates, exports are expensive but imports are cheaper. Thus, countries are unaware of what might happen and how their currency will affect them in the future which can deter them from trading. Therefore, they are unable to capitalize on comparative and absolute advantage nature of economies.

For example, Country A may have competitive advantage in the production of wheat. It can produce and sell at a lower rate than its neighboring country, Country B. However, if its currency appreciates, it makes exports expensive and transaction costs being higher, which leads to a fall in the trade and both countries being negatively impacted. Country A would have lost export revenue whilst country B would have to produce its wheat at an expensive cost.

When exchange rates are fixed, these countries would not have to worry about exchange rate fluctuations and hence can integrate and trade efficiently while keeping transaction costs low.

If a manufacturing plant that employs 20% of the local labor force closes, the likely effect on the area’s real estate values
love history [14]

Answer:

Supply and demand

Explanation:

First is important to remember the supply and demand principle. We can analyze this by the law of supply and demand.

The law of supply states that "the quantity of a good supplied rises as the market price rises, and falls as the price falls".

Conversely, the law of demand says that "the quantity of a good demanded falls as the price rises, and the quantity of a good increase as the price decrease".

For this case if the manufacturing plant close 20% of the people in the area will not have a job and the prices of the real state values will tend to decrease and if the prices decrease the quantity falls from the supply law.

IrinaVladis [17]

Answer:Ordinary Business income loss =-$20,500.

Explanation:

Ordinary business Expenses are the expenses generally accepted according to the  industry standards associated with running of a business.

Here, the ordinary business expenses for Zoom  include

cost of good sold= $19,-000

employee wages= $17,000

rent expense = $11,500 and therefore will be deducted from its sales revenue.

charitable contributions and qualified dividends, do not cut across all industries and so are not classified under Ordinary Buisness expences.

Ordinary Business income loss = Sales revenue - cost of good sold, -employee wages- rent expense.

$27,000- $19,000-$`17,000-$11,500= -$20,500. to be reported on its X4 return
