Part A : formula for circumference = pi*D or 2piR
for circle A.... 8*pi=25.12
therefore pi=3.14
for circle B.... 3*pi=9.42
therefore pi=9.42/3
pi=3.14

part B : formula for Area =
pi \times  {r}^{2}
for circle A.... 50.24=pi*(8/2)sqr...(because diameter/2= radius)
pi=50.24/16
pi=3.14

for circle B... 7.065=pi*(3/2)sqr...
pi=7.065/2.25
pi=3.14

what do you observe?
the values for pi are all equal... therefore pi is constant.

bazaltina [42]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

On a number line, -2 appears to the right of -5, and therefore -2 is warmer than -5.  (Answer A)

The difference between -2 and -5 is -2 - (-5) = 5 - 2 = 3 degrees C  (Answer B)

Joan adopt two kittens snowflake has a mass of 2 kg and midnight has a mass of 997 g what is the difference between the masses o
exis [7]

Answer:

Given,

mass of snow flake = 2 kg

mass of midnight = 997 gm

Now,

1 kg = 1000 gm

2 kg = 1000 * 2

= 2000 gm

therefore the difference between the masses of the kittens = 2000

- 997

= 1003 gm (is the answer)

An individual's yearly after-tax income can be expressed as I=52g (1-t/100), where g is the weekly gross pay before taxes and t
Bumek [7]
I=52g(1-\frac{t}{100})

Solving for t:

Divide both sides by 52g:

\frac{I}{52g}=1-\frac{t}{100}

Multiply both sides by -1:

\frac{t}{100}-1=-\frac{I}{52g}

Add 1 to both sides:

\frac{t}{100}=1-\frac{I}{52g}

Multiply both sides by 100:

Answer:

t=100(1-\frac{I}{52g})
