Ok, i am confused on what this is asking, but remember: to find ratios(rise over run y over x slope m k whatever) subtract two ys and subtract two xs( remember that coordinates go(x,y)) put your answer in y/x form, and that is your constant(ratio)

Answer:

4:1

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that

Point L(-2,5) and M(2,-3).

Point Q(\frac{6}{5},\frac{-7}{5}) partitions LM .

We have to find the ratio in which Q divides the LM.

Let point Q divides the LM in the ratio K:1.

Section formula;x=\frac{m_1x_2+m_2x_1}{m_1+m_2},y=\frac{m_1y_2+m_2y_1}{m_1+m_2}

Substitute the values in the given formula  then we get

\frac{6}{5}=\frac{2k-2}{k+1}

6k+6=10k-10

6+10=10k-6k

16=4k

k=\frac{16}{4}=4

Hence, the point Q divides the LM in the ratio 4:1.

A trapezoid pyramid has a base area of 128 square centimeters. If it’s volume is 10,240 cubic centimeters, what is the height of
White raven [17]

Answer:

The height of the pyramid is 1.875\ cm

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The volume of the trapezoid pyramid is equal to

V=Bh

where

B is the area of the trapezoid base

h is the height of the pyramid

we have

B=128\ cm^{2}

V=240\ cm^{3}

substitute and solve for h

240=(128)h

h=240/(128)=1.875\ cm

For each sequences, find the first 4 term and the 10th term the sequences are
jek_recluse [69]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

to find the first 4 terms substitute n = 1, 2, 3, 4 into the sequence rule

to find the 10th term substitute n = 10 into the rule

(a)

a₁ = 1² + 3 = 1 + 3 = 4

a₂ = 2² + 3 = 4 + 3 = 7

a₃ = 3² + 3 = 9 + 3 = 12

a₄ = 4² + 3 = 16 + 3 = 19

a₁₀ = 10² + 3 = 100 + 3 = 103

(b)

a₁ = 2(1)² = 2(1) = 2

a₂ = 2(2)² = 2(4) = 8

a₃ = 2(3)² = 2(9) = 18

a₄ = 2(4)² = 2(16) = 32

a₁₀ = 2(10)² = 2(100) = 200
