Justice Bradley of the U.S. Supreme Court wrote this comment. It appears in the case summary for Bradwell v. Illinois, 1872.
Katena32 [7]
I don’t think so. He implies women are only to be wives and mothers, which also implies the old statuses of men working, voting, owning property and women not being allowed to do so. This is not just the Justice’s personal opinion to keep to himself, and he says civil society must be based on the “law of the creator.” Personally, I think his perspective is rubbish

Which of the following statements best describes the course of the Korean War during the last year-and-a-half of the conflict?
Sholpan [36]

Answer:

i don't know what the statements are but, i think the answer is B) Neither side could win an advantage.

Explanation:

Korean War was a war fought on the Korean Peninsula from 1950 to 1953 after troops from communist North Korea, armed with Soviet weapons, invaded democratic South Korea, prompting the United States and the United Nations to send forces to support South Korea and fight to unify the Korean Peninsula into one democratic nation, which in turn prompted China to join the war on North Korea's side; at war's end, the peninsula remained divided into two nations

-The war began when North Korean troops armed with Soviet weapons invaded South Korea. Their aim was to unite all of Korea under communist rule. Truman, viewing the invasion as a test of American will, ordered U.S. forces to help South Korea repel the invaders. Truman turned to the United Nations for support. A UN resolution condemned the North Korean invasion and called on member states to aid South Korea.

Why did the early battles of the Civil War favor the South?
Zigmanuir [339]
The main reason why the early battles of the Civil War favored the South is because the South was technically fighting a defensive war--meaning that the North had to make the moves and troop plans that brought them into southern territory, which allowed the South to prepare better.
