Answer:

Random type

Step-by-step explanation:

Random sampling is like to put everyone's name into a hat and drawing out several names. In our case, that is basically what they did. The numbers of the 1069 adults were picked randomly.

In systematic sampling some samples are counted off. That is, every kth element is taken but in our case this didn't happen.

Convenience sampling uses the first people the surveyor runs into.  which didn't happen because they call multiple samples.

Cluster sampling is accomplished by dividing the population into groups -- usually geographically. These groups are called clusters or blocks.

Stratified sampling also divides the population into groups called strata. However, this time it is by some characteristic, not geographically, which didn't happen in our case neither.

Find the length of the longest line segment that can be drawn on a rectangular board 3.07 m by 2.24 m.
Luden [163]

Step-by-step explanation:

For rectangle

l=3.07m

b=2.24m

so longest side that can be drawn is diagonal of rectangular board

=squareroot l^2+b^2

=squareroot3.07^2+2.24^2

=squareroot9.4249+5.0176

=squareroot14.4425

=3.80

So longest line that can be drawn in rectangular board is 3.80m
