The traits, habits and experiences, as well as interest that
the professor or advisor that would not normally learn to their student is
probably their attitudes that they display at home and when they are outside
the school. It is because students will probably act accordingly in school as
they follow the rules and regulations that is being upheld in the school, but
as they were outside and with their family, they tend to be themselves and act
more freely, in a way that they will behave the way they want to and shows
their habits towards to people that they already know them such as their
family. For they won’t be able to show their true self in school because they
have to abide with the rules that they need to follow.

The action above is a type of informal deviance. It is because an informal deviance is being referred when someone is violating informal social norms. The norms that has been violated are not being encoded, in which the law is responsible in it. Picking your nose in public is one of the actions of having to violate the informal social norms in the society.
Laws in day to day may refer to a bill that has been passed in your country creating a law. A law within is Science is usually a fact that remains consistent and doesn’t change (like Newtons Laws). Scientific laws of course are tested to see if they remain accurate consistently before becoming law but they aren’t simply voted in/passes like laws in the judicial system.
