The answer is (B) Ethnic Conflict.

The European colonies were created without care who would be separated by them. All of the countries within Africa have borders made by Europeans that had no care for what ethnic population were where. This can be seen in Sudan and South Sudan, and the conflicts between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. There's more evidence in the middle east with the Kurdish uprisings in Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran.

Describe the similarities and differences in foreign policy during the Eisenhower and Kennedy Administrations.
Paha777 [63]

Differences .

Dwight D. Eisenhower tenure was from 1956 to 1961. John F. Kennedy tenure was from 1961 to 1963.

With Eisenhower, the Foreign Policy was that United States forces help the Middle East to combat the spread of Communism. In this region, Eisenhower had some political differences with England and France. The reason: the Suez crisis of 1956 due to President of Egypt -Gamal Abdel Nasser- wishes to be more independent.

In 1955, USSR President Nikita Khrushchev called his Foreign policy "peaceful coexistence", but Eisenhower did not believed in this. He was skeptic of the Soviet’s intentions.

Eisenhower accepted to participate in a meeting with Russian leaders in Geneva, Switzerland, in July 1955. That meeting was called the "Spirit of Geneva".

Kennedy considered that Eisenhower had lost emerging states in Latin America, Asia, and Africa to the communists

Kennedy fought against Communism in South and Central America using propaganda.

Kenndy supported and funded NASA’s space programs.

Kennedy had to confronted and resolve the Misil’s crisis in Cuba.

Similarities.

Both presidents fought against Communism, in his own way. They reaffirmed the U.S. Foreign policy against Russia and defended its positions in the world.

Both presidents were reluctant to send troops to enforce civil rights

They were concerned about the problems with the application of federalism, but at th end they did to enforce civil rights.

What mementos from the u.s. did the astronauts leave back on the moon?
jok3333 [9.3K]

There are in all 23 vital mementoes left behind by the 12 expeditors who visited the Moon as a part of the Apollo project. These include the 3 Lunar Roving Vehicles used to taxi around the surface of the Moon that were used during the mission Apollo-15, 16 and 17. Not only these expensive vehicles were abandoned there but all the 6 lunar modules which were used for the purpose of landing on the Moon are also left there. The other things, scattered across on the Moon, include the bags used to carry the life support systems, Neil Armstrong's as well as other astronauts' shoes, a device to measure the earthquake-like tremors on the Moon, a laser reflector which is used to measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon, the golf stick along and a golf ball that was struck by Alan Shepard, the national flag of the USA, the urine collection bags of the astronauts, tools used to break the rocks, etc. Personal belongings like the astronauts' family photographs are also included in the list. Every spot of human landing on the Moon includes some or the other thing to mark his visit on that spot.

Other mementos also include the first footprint of Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the Moon as well.
