The allies were most important in helping the colonists win the American Revolution. Primarily, France. France helped America because of they wanted to seek revenge on Britian as they had won the Seven Years War against France and they also hoped recoup some of the land that they had lost in that war. France also wanted to trade with the United States and believed in Freedom, all reasons why they helped the United States.
