Well since it is a shape made of individual shapes you have to find the volume of each shape first. Since each side of the face is 3 cm and the width is 10 you would multiply 3*3*10. After that you wind up with 90 which you then multiply by 5 because there are five shapes ending up with a total of 450 cm.

Whats the Axis of Symmetry? willing to give 15 points !!
nydimaria [60]

The axis of symmetry of a parabola in the form

y=ax^2+bx+c

is a vertical line

x=k

where k is the x coordinate of the vertex of the parabola.

The x coordinate of the vertex of the parabola is given by

-\dfrac{b}{2a}

which in your case is

-\dfrac{-6}{2\cdot \frac{1}{4}}=\dfrac{6}{\frac{1}{2}}=6\cdot 2=12

So, the axis of symmetry is the line x=12.

Find the derivative:<br> f(x)=tan(x^2+5)
AlekseyPX

Answer:

f'(x)=2x \sec^2(x^2+5)

Step-by-step explanation:

To differentiate this we will need to use the chain rule:

[h(g(x))]'=g'(x) \cdot h'(g(x)).

We will also have to keep in mind how to differentiate the following:

\tan(\theta) with repect to \theta

x^2+5 with respect to x.

f(x)=\tan(x^2+5)

Derivative of both sides:

f'(x)=(x^2+5)'\cdot (\tan)'(x^2+5)

f'(x)=(2x+0) \cdot \sec^2(x^2+5)

f'(x)=2x \sec^2(x^2+5)

A factory makes 1200 shirts each six hours the factory makes shirts for nine hours each workday enter the fewest number of workd
Viefleur [7K]
To start you need to find out how many shirts are made a day. if 6/1200=9/x so then x= 1800 shirts made a day. to make 12600 shirts you will divide 12600 by 1800 = 7days
