The probability of one failing is 0.1
The probability of two failing is 0.1 x 0.1 = 0.01
The probability if three failing is 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 = 0.001
etc
The probability of all six failing is 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 = 0.000001

How many multiples of 4 are natural<br> numbers less than or equal to 10?
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

2, there'd be more, but natural numbers are like, whole numbers, integers basically except they're like non-negative integers. Enough ranting. So 4 and 8 would be the numbers because they are mulitplied by 4,1, and 2.

Since 4 cant go into 10 completely without a decimal, there'd only be 2 multiples.

Confusing explanation, but i think my answer is correct. (or is it, dun dun dun!)

y = \frac{2}{5}\cdot x (1)

x + y = 56 (2)

Donde:

  • x - Edad de Andrea, en años.
  • y - Edad de Alejandro, en años.

A continuación, procedemos a resolver el sistema:

(1) en (2):

x + \frac{2}{5}\cdot x = 56

\frac{7}{5}\cdot x = 56

7\cdot x = 280

x = 40

Por (1):

y = \frac{2}{5}\cdot 40

y = 16

Las edades de Andrea y Alejandro son 40 y 16 años, respectivamente.
