So the area of a rectangle is Length x Width.
A = (L)(W)
Substitute the information given:
4x^2 + 20x + 16 = (L)(2x+8)
Isolate L by dividing 2x+8:
(4x^2 + 20x +16)/ (2x + 8) = L
If you divide:
L = 2x + 2.

-- Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal, so  2x+19 = 3x.
Solve this, and you'll know what 'x' is.

-- Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary, so  y+3x = 180.
You know what 'x' is, so you can solve this one and find 'y'.

Complete the remainder of the<br> table for the given function rule
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

y = 3

y = 2

y = 1

y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

Given expression;

y = (-x/3) + 2

Find:

  1. Value of y, if x = -3
  2. Value of y, if x = 0
  3. Value of y, if x = 3
  4. Value of y, if x = 6

Computation:

Value of y, if x = -3

y = (-x/3) + 2

y = (3/3) + 2

y = 3

Value of y, if x = 0

y = (-x/3) + 2

y = (-0/3) + 2

y = 2

Value of y, if x = 3

y = (-x/3) + 2

y = (-3/3) + 2

y = 1

Value of y, if x = 6

y = (-x/3) + 2

y = (-6/3) + 2

y = 0
