6 1/2 - 2 5/6

First you turn those fraction to improver fraction so

6 1/2 to improper fraction will be 13/2

2 5/6 to improper fraction will be 17/6

so now you do 13/2 - 17/6 then you going to find the common denominator

the common denominator of those fraction is 6

you 13/2 you so to get 6 you have to multiply 13 by 3 and 2 by 3 you 13 times 3= 39 and 2 times 3 = 6

so 39/6 - 17/6= 39-17=22/6 simplify 22 and 6 by 2 will be 11/3 simplified again will be 3 2/3

the answer is 3 2/3

A store owner was buying uniforms for his employees. If each of his stores needed 79 uniforms and he had 64 stores which express
seraphim [82]

Answer:

C) The total number of about uniforms needed is 60 x 80 uniforms.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Number of total stores the owner has = 64 stores

The number of employees uniform needed in 1 store = 79 uniforms

Now, 64 is Rounded off to about 60.

and 79 is Rounded off to about 80.

⇒ The total number of uniforms in 60 stores = 60 x ( uniform in 1 store)

= 60 x (80 uniforms)

or, the expression of total uniforms needed = 60 x (80 uniforms)

Hence, the total number of about uniforms needed is 60 x 80 uniforms.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
kipiarov [429]

Answer:X + Y ≥ 4

$2.20X + $2.95Y ≤ $10.00

Strawberries cost $2.20 per pound

Raspberries cost $2.95 per pound

Jada only has $10.00 to spend

She wants to buy at least 4 pounds

Assumption: She buys X pounds of strawberries and Y pounds of raspberries.

Solution:

Number of pounds can't be less than 4

i.e X + Y ≥ 4

The cost of buying strawberries and raspberries has to be $10.00 or less than $10.00

i.e $2.20X + $2.95Y ≤ $10.00

So the system of equations is;

X + Y ≥ 4

$2.20X + $2.95Y ≤ $10.00

Step-by-step explanation:

Hopefully this helped, if not HMU and I will get you a better answer.
