Answer:
Explanation:
On 22 June 1941, Hitler launched an invasion of the Soviet Union. Stalin was confident that the total Allied war machine would eventually stop Germany,
and with Lend Lease from the West, the Soviets stopped the Wehrmacht some 30 kilometers (or 18.6 miles) from Moscow. Over the next four years, the Soviet Union repulsed Axis offensives, such as at the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk, and pressed forward to victory in large Soviet offensives, such as the Vistula–Oder Offensive.
The bulk of Soviet fighting took place on the Eastern Front—including a continued war with Finland—but it also invaded Iran (August 1941) in cooperation with the British and late in the war attacked Japan (August 1945), with which the Soviets had border wars earlier up until in 1939.
Solon was chosen to be the leader of Athens because he was the "the people's hero", he got rid of the Athenian aristocracy by getting the people rid of debts and canceled most slavery. He drew the creation of democracy close by allowing male citizens to vote and reinforced the idea that citizens would not be subjects. Athens was no longer corrupt.
Answer:
Beliefs and proof
Explanation:
In my opinion, one of the most hardest challenges that these scientists and Archaeologists face is proof. Is it really the truth? what do i believe? Some <em><u>believe</u></em> that humans originated in Africa over 1.9 million and 135,000 years ago. Note the fact '<em><u>believe</u></em>', have scientists proved this theory of evidence? NO. Do they have human witness of how they looked liked? NO.
All around us there are only theories and beliefs but never proof or evidence.
These are some very crucial factors these scientists face, to be able to actually make people think what they think, to try and convince that even though i may not have proof, our studies and reading are 'vastly' true.
Archaeologists main passion is to understand the past, to collect data and readings, to try and interpret hidden meanings... But have we gotten a conclusion? The origin of man is a very complicated subject. As a Christian i have different beliefs, like others will to.
This brings more frustration for scientists and archaeologists to make space for their beliefs too.
I hope this helps and i hope it cleared a bit of confusion, this is just my opinion.
