Representational images are prohibited in islamic art, therefore it encompasses geometric patterns that:
alexira [117]
I think, based on the options provided for the answers that the correct response would be (d). As a focus of producing works with the physical form was not permitted. There are a few schools of thought on the subject... one is that only god can create the physical form so to do so would be as though you are aligning yourself at gods level and his creativity. While another thought is that the figure form is not allowed due the a concern that the art might then promote idolatry which was seen as a contradiction of the oneness of God. So while some patterns express symmetry they are not minimally colored and are quite the opposite. It is thought that the geometric patterns are more representational as a reflection of God’s infinite creations and should allow for spiritual contemplation and growth... which leads me to believe (d) is the correct choice.

If you are building a triads whose root is located on the line of the staff where will the third and the fifth be located
docker41 [41]

The bottom note is considered the root. So, the middle note is the third and the top note is the fifth.

The triad is the basic chord and has three notes called the root, the third and the fifth. The root gives the chord a name.

The notes of a triad include the note letter name in the musical alphabet:

> A-C-E

> B-D-F

> C-E-G

> D-F-A

There is a triad's characteristic determined by its intervals. Known as qualities, they are major, minor, diminished and augmented. These are determined by the intervals in each one.

In modern music genres, chord symbols appear above the staff to show the performer the kind of chord he/she needs to play.

Musicians can build a triad on any note.
