How does the Earth's crust change at continental margins?

Geography

Answer:

Hopefully this helps

Explanation:

Continental crust is the layer of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks that forms the continents and the areas of shallow seabed close to their shores, known as continental shelves. This layer is sometimes called sial because its bulk composition is richer in silicates and aluminium minerals and has a lower density compared to the oceanic crust, called sima which is richer in magnesium silicate minerals and is denser. Changes in seismic wave velocities have shown that at a certain depth (the Conrad discontinuity), there is a reasonably sharp contrast between the more felsic upper continental crust and the lower continental crust, which is more mafic in character.

It can be inferred from the chart shown that
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

From this chart can be inferred that there is significant diversity in language usage in the United States.

Explanation:

The United States is the country with the biggest economy in the world, thus it is a country that has been the most attractive for migrants across the world for a long time now. While there are some ethnic and linguistic groups that dominate in the country, the fact that there are people from literally every country in the world living there means that the language diversity, at least at home is huge.

The English and Spanish languages dominate by far as those are the two languages that are native to most of the population, but when it comes to languages spoken at home the picture is much different. There are six languages that are officially spoken by one million or more people, including Chinese, French, German, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and Italian. On top of it, there are several other languages that have over half a million people using them, like Russian and Korean. If we take into account the languages that are spoken by less than half a million people then we will have hundreds of different languages on the spectrum.

Flura [38]

The grassy plains made up the majority of the fertile crescent. Although this region was suitable for farming, it lacked materials like stone, wood, and metal. Knives, spears, weapons, constructing buildings or shelters, and creating fires were only a few of the challenges these shortages brought on for the locals.

Plant and animal cultivation is known as agriculture or farming. Farming of domesticated species produced food surpluses that allowed people to dwell in cities, and this was the crucial innovation in the birth of sedentary human civilization.

Farming has a long history dating back a very long time. Around 11,500 years ago, early farmers started to sow the wild grains they had been harvesting for at least 105,000 years. Domestication of pigs, sheep, and cattle dates back more than 10,000 years. Despite the fact that 2 billion people still relied on subsistence agriculture in the 20th century, industrial agriculture based on massive monocultures began to dominate agricultural production.
