I think this is false because two opposite sides can't be perpendicular (creating a 90 degree angle) because opposite sides are parallel.

Temp in City for weeks 1-4 = starting temp - 5 deg c/wk * wk#

This shows the temperature in the city for weeks 1 2 3 4 given the original temperature of the city and whichever week you want to know from the starting point....week 1 week 2 week 3 week 4 .....

Find the domain for the particular solution to the differential equation dy dx equals the quotient of 3 times y and x , with ini
Svetach [21]
For this case we have the following difference equation:
 dy / dx = 3xy

 Applying separable variables we have:
 dy / y = 3xdx

 Integrating both sides we have:
 \int\ ({1/y}) \, dy =  \int\ {3x} \, dx
 ln (y) = (3/2) x ^ 2 + C

 applying exponential to both sides:
 exp (ln (y)) = exp ((3/2) x ^ 2 + C)

 y = C * exp ((3/2) x ^ 2)
 For y (1) = 1 we have:
 C = 1 / (exp ((3/2) * 1 ^ 2))

C = 0.2
 Thus, the particular solution is:
 y = 0.2 * exp ((3/2) x ^ 2)

 Whose domain is all real.
 Answer:
 y = 0.2 * exp ((3/2) x ^ 2)
 Domain: all real numbers

A cylinder and a cone have the same radius and height. The volume of the cylinder is 639 ft ^3. what is the volume of the cone?
AURORKA [14]

The volume of the cone is: A. 213 ft³.

<h3>Volume of a Cylinder and a Cone</h3>
  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h.
  • Volume of cone = ⅓πr²h.

Given:

radius and height of both the cylinder and the cone are equal.

Volume of Cylinder = 639 ft³

Therefore:

πr²h = ⅓πr²h

This means that volume of cone would be ⅓ of the volume of the cylinder.

Volume of cone = ⅓(639) = 213 ft³

Therefore, the volume of the cone is: A. 213 ft³.

HELLPPPPPPPPPPPPP Solve x2 - 16x + 60 = -12 by completing the steps. First, subtract 60 from each side of the equation. Next, ad
kompoz [17]

Answer:

x = 8 ± 2i\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

x² - 16x + 60 = - 12 ( subtract 60 from both sides )

x² - 16x = - 72

To complete the square

add ( half the coefficient of the x- term )² to both sides

x² + 2(- 8)x + 64 = - 72 + 64, thus

(x - 8)² = - 8 ( take the square root of both sides )

x - 8 = ± \sqrt{-8} = ± 2i\sqrt{2} ( add 8 to both sides )

x = 8 ± 2i\sqrt{2}
