<u>Answer:</u>

A. Nicole's hair grows at a rate of 1/2 in. per month.

B. Julian adds 5 laps to his swimming routine every week.

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

We are given a number of situations and we are to figure out whether which of them can be modeled by a linear function.

To begin with, I would like to define in simple words what a linear function is.

A function which which produces a straight line graph is said to be a linear function.

Here, the following two situations can be modeled by linear function:

A. Nicole's hair grows at a rate of 1/2 in. per month.

B. Julian adds 5 laps to his swimming routine every week.

How many cm in 1.5 km
nignag [31]

Answer:

1.5 Kilometers and 150000 Centimeters

Step-by-step explanation:

5 × 10 -5 kilometers in 1 1 / 2 centimeters. To convert any value in centimeters to kilometers, just multiply the value in centimeters by the conversion factor 1 / 100000 . So, 1.5 centimeters times 1 / 100000 is equal to 1.5 × 10 -5 kilometers.

I hope this helps!

Can someone please help me on e and f i dont understand it and pls explain
Lemur [1.5K]
For parts A, B, C, and D you most likely created a line. What question E is asking is for you to create a line that is perpendicular to the line you already created that also passes through the point (1,1). What is important to understand here is that the slope of the perpendicular line is the negative reciprocal of the original line's slope... if the original slope is (-4/3) than the perpendicular slope is (3/4)... then you should just plug that new slope into point-slope form or slope-intercept form to get your equation... y-y1 = m(x-x1) ... y-1= (3/4)(x-1) ... so it would be y=(3/4)x + 1/4 then for part f just convert into standard form which is just manipulating the variables... look up standard form equation on Google and manipulate the variables from there.
