I think it's great. We are all people,why does the color of our skin matter? I am not a big believer of god, but I still do believe that we are all related in some way because it just makes since, I just believe that somewhere along the line some lost pigment while others gained. Many government officials felt that Native Americans should be assimilated into America's mainstream culture before they became enfranchised. The Dawes Act of 1887 was passed to help spur assimilation.
