Okay so first you need to fix the numbers; I put both sides into feet so the equation would look like this: 1.75/.75=x/30. now you just cross multiply and divide: (30x.75)/1.75. that means x=12.8571429... (13). from there you divide: 1.75/.75=2.3 and 30/13=2.3. that means the scale is x2.3!
I hope that makes sense.

What is the area of a parallelogram with a base of 0.56 cm and a height of 0.33 cm (to the nearest hundredths)? A) 0.18 cm2 B) 0
valentinak56 [21]

Answer: A) 0.18 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

To calculate the area of a parallelogram you must apply the formula shown below:

A=b*h

Where b is the base and h is the height of the parallelogram.

You know the values of the base and the value of the height.

Therefore, when you susbstitute these values into the equation shown above, you obtain the following result:

A=0.56*0.33cm=0.18cm^{2}

Rectangle ABCD with coordinates A(1, 1), B(4, 1), C(4, 2), and D(1, 2) dilates with respect to the origin to give rectangle A'B'
Virty [35]

Scale factor is a ratio. The correct option is C.

How are scale drawings formed?

For a particular scale drawing, it is already specified that all the measurements' some constant scaled version will be taken. For example, let the scale be K feet to s inches.

Then it means

\rm 1\: ft : \dfrac{s}{k}\: in.

All feet measurements will then be multiplied by s/k to get the drawing's corresponding lengths.

The length of AB can be written as,

AB = √[(1-4)²+ (1-1)²]

AB = 3

Since the length A'B' is 6 units, therefore, the scale factor will be,

Scale factor = (Length after transformation)/(Length before transformation)

Scale factor = 6 /3 = 2

Hence, the correct option is C.
