DNA is referred to as the genetic blue print. In the same way the blue prints contain the instructions for the construction of a building. The DNA founds inside the nuclei contains the instructions for assembling a living organism. The DNA carries the organisms in form of genes and in most case the gene will direct the production of a polytides from which other more complex proteins such as enzymes and hormones may be constructed. The polytides and other molecules are the ones that run the metabolism of an organism and in multi cellular organisms, it directs what the job of each cell.

Drawin's experiments are just one way to study phototroprism. A student wants to investigate the effects of phototroprsm in bean
oksano4ka [1.4K]

Answer:

Angle of light source

Explanation:

Independent variable is the variable that the experimenter changes or manipulates in an experiment in order to bring about a measurable response, which is the dependent variable.

In this question, a student wants to investigate the effects of phototropism in bean plants. She places a light source directly above one plant, at a forty-five degree angle to another, and at a ninety-degree angle from the third. This shows that the variable being manipulated (independent variable) is the ANGLE OF THE LIGHT SOURCE.

8. when stuff binds to proteins, the proteins change shape. when the action potential reaches the sarcomere, it releases calcium
Aliun [14]

True, the process is called the sliding filament model of muscle contraction.

According to the sliding filament theory, muscle proteins slide past one another to produce movement during muscular contractions. The sliding filament theory postulates that during muscle contraction, the actin (thin filaments) and myosin (thick filaments) of muscle fibers glide past each other while remaining at essentially constant lengths. A protein called myosin transforms ATP (chemical energy) into mechanical energy, causing movement and push. T

his motion causes the muscles to contract and non-muscle cells, like those in the mitosis and meiosis, to move (cell division). Additionally, the actin-myosin interaction and actin polymerization are what cause a cell to move across a surface. When troponin molecules link to calcium ions in filaments, actin filaments' myosin-binding sites become visible, promoting bridge construction. ATP serves as an energy source and powers this process. Myosin molecules' heads undergo ATP hydrolysis, changing their shape and allowing them to bind to actin filaments.
