What differentiates anthropocentric and biocentric views of the environment?

If we were to differentiate anthroprocentric and biocentric views of the environment you could say that anthroprocentric is more holistic than biocentric. They consider the importance of the environment to human beings. Biocentric sees humans as an individual part of the environment.

Also Biocentric views tend to focus more on biotic factors (living things) and anthroprocentric veer towards the abiotic factors (non-living things).

The cambial ring becomes active and starts cutting off new cells; both on the inner and the outer sides. The cells which are cut off towards the pith mature into secondary xylem. The cells which are cut off towards the periphery mature into secondary phloem.

Explanation:

In this example, the lateral extensions that developed were meant for thermoregulation.

But these became sufficiently large to support gliding through the air and later on were used for flight.

Thus the structure assumed a function for which it was not meant and its original function shifted to a completely different dimension giving rise to modern insect wings. So we can say that this is an example of Exaptation.

Take India for example.... people use the bathroom and bathe in rivers! Now lets say we look at the US our pollution comes from factories, trash that people dont throw away, fertilizers and many more... but the difference is, that in developed countries like the US our water is filtered.... And in India water is not safe to drink
