Which theorist believed that the unconscious rises to the surface through dreams?
Anastasy [175]

Many of our sensations, aspirations, and emotions, as per Freud, are suppressed or held out of consciousness because they are just too scary.

<h3>What are dreams?</h3>

A dream is a stream of pictures, ideas, emotions, and pleasures that occur automatically in the mind during various phases of sleep.

Freud felt that these latent wants and wishes may potentially be revealed through dreams and slips of the tongue.

Many of our sensations, aspirations, and emotions, as per Freud, are suppressed or held out of consciousness because they are just too scary.

Thus, the theorist who believed the unconscious rises to the surface through dreams is Freud.

What happens to the continental crust under a mountain as the mountain erodes and becomes less massive?
AveGali [126]

Continental collision is a phenomenon of the plate tectonics of Earth that occurs at convergent boundaries. Continental collision is a variation on the fundamental process of subduction, whereby the subduction zone is destroyed, mountainsproduced, and two continents sutured together. Continental collision is known only to occur on Earth.

Continental collision is not an instantaneous event, but may take several tens of millions of years before the faulting and foldingcaused by collisions stops. The collision between India and Asia has been going on for about 50 million years already and shows no signs of abating. Collision between East and West Gondwana to form the East African Orogen took about 100 million years from beginning (610 Ma) to end (510 Ma). Collision between Gondwana and Laurasia to form Pangea occurred in a relatively brief interval, about 50 million years long.

Explain why mutations may or may not affect phenotype
Svetlanka [38]

Answer:

Explanation:

Mutations may or may not affect the phenotype because they can occur in coding or non coding areas of the DNA. If they occur in coding areas of the DNA, the protein that is coded in that part could be processed incompletely or have a different amino-acid in some part of its structure, this would affect the phenotype. If they occur in non coding areas, this would have no effect on the phenotype.
