First you would need to 8x5 witch is 40 so 40 would be you're answer to week 5.

Then do the same with week 6 so you'd do 8x6 witch is 48 so 48 would be you're answer to week 6.

Finally for week 7 you would do 8x7 witch is 56 so 56 would be you're answer to week 7 .

Find the total surface area of these solids
12345 [234]

Step-by-step explanation:

We firstly find the surface area of only one face of the cube:

Sa=a²

Sa=1.2²cm

Sa=1.44cm²

Since the cube has 6 faces we multiply the surface area of one face(144cm²) with 6

Area(cube)=1.44cm²*6

=8.64cm²

Same thing with the prism but we have to find the area of one of his triangle face and rectangle face

S(triangle)=5mm*4mm*1/2

=10mm²

S(rectangle)=7mm*5mm=35mm²

The prism has 2 triangle faces and three rectangle faces so we multiply the area by those numbers and then we add those together to get the final area

S=10mm²*2+35mm²*3

S=20+105

S=125mm²

Igoryamba

Answer:

w =< 70

(width is less or equal to 70 inches)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let l = length, w = width, h = height

Restrictions given in this question:

'sum of perimeter of the base and the height cannot exceed 130 inches'

perimeter of the base is 2 width and 2 length of the box

perimeter = 2w + 2l

Therefore, inequality involves here is

2w + 2l + h =< 130

(Note that =< here means less or equal)

Then a new condition given with

height, h = 60 in

and length is 2.5 times the width

l = 2.5w

Substitute this new condition into the equation will give us the following:

2w + 2(2.5w) + 60 =< 130

2w + 5w + 60 =< 130

7w + 60 =< 130

7w =< 130-60

7w =< 70

w =< 10
